Bodenkarte von Niedersachsen 1 : 50 000 - Bodenfruchtbarkeit (Ertragsfähigkeit)
Bodenfruchtbarkeit (Ertragsfähigkeit) bezeichnet das natürliche, standörtliche Potenzial eines Bodens für die Biomasseproduktion. Diese wird beeinflusst durch mineralogische, physikalische, chemische und biologische Bodeneigenschaften. Zu den wesentlichen Faktoren zur Beurteilung der Nutzbarkeit eines Bodens als Produktionsstandort gehören die Wasser- und potenzielle Nährstoffversorgung, die Durchwurzelbarkeit und Einschränkungen aufgrund zu feuchter Böden. Zudem werden Moorböden gesondert klassifiziert. Die Ergebnisse sind auf die Bodeneinheit bezogen. Zu- oder Abschläge für flächenspezifische Besonderheiten (z. B. Hangneigung, Waldnutzung) gehen nicht in die Bewertung ein. Die Bewertung erfolgt niedersachsenweit in einer siebenstufigen qualitativen Skala (äußerst gering – äußerst hoch) auf Basis der Bodenkarte von Niedersachsen im Maßstab 1:50.000.
