Bodenkarte von Niedersachsen 1 : 50 000 - Grundwasserstufe

Die Grundwasserstufe der Böden (GWS) beschreibt den Grad des Einflusses von oberflächennahem Grundwasser auf die Entwicklung der Böden und die im Boden ablaufenden Prozesse. Eine geringe GWS kennzeichnet einen hohen Grundwasserstand und damit einen hohen Einfluss des Grundwassers auf den Boden. Die GWS wird aus der Bodenkarte von Niedersachsen 1 : 50 000 (BK50) aus den vorherrschenden mittleren Grundwasserhöchst- (MHGW) und dem mittleren Grundwassertiefstständen (MNGW) abgeleitet. Sie charakterisiert den Grundwassereinfluss mit Hilfe einer Kennzahl.
