Bodenkarte von Niedersachsen 1 : 50 000 - Deichlinien im Küstenholozän (WMS Dienst)

Die Darstellung der Deichlinien im Küstenholozän wurde im Zuge der Bearbeitung der Bodenkarte im Maßstab 1:50.000 von Niedersachsen erarbeitet. Sie sind von grundlegender Bedeutung für die Landschafts- und Bodenentwicklung in der Marsch und bilden z.T. auch Bodengrenzen. Datengrundlage waren verschiedene historische Darstellungen oder Karten (s.u.). In der vorliegenden Ausbaustufe wird nur die Lage der Deiche abgebildet. Soweit möglich wurde die Lage an die heutige Topographie angepasst. Bei den Kartengrundlagen vor 1800 bestand die besondere Schwierigkeit in der Wiederfindung der Deichlinien und der Anpassung an die heutige Topographie. Das Alter der Deiche bzw. Deichkammern oder die Funktionen der Deiche (Sommer-, Winterdeiche), Außen- oder Hinterdeiche (Achterndiek) werden in dieser Ausbaustufe nicht attributiert.
