Erwartungsflächen Bodenbelastung 1 : 50 000

Der über 1000-jährige Bergbau im Harz führte in Teilen seines Vorlandes zu erheblichen Schwermetallbelastungen in den Böden der Flussauen. Bei den Schwermetallbelastungen handelt es sich vorrangig um die Stoffe Blei, Cadmium, Arsen, Kupfer und Zink.

Auf der Basis von bodenkundlichen und geologischen Flächeninformationen sowie Punktinformationen zur Bodenbelastung wurden durch das LBEG Areale ausgewiesen in denen erhöhte Schwermetallbelastungen zu erwarten sind.
